This site collects almost nothing. There are no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers on dataequity.in. The only personal data we receive is what you type into the contact form and choose to send us.

Who we are
Data Equity Private Limited ("Data Equity", "we", "us") is a company incorporated in India in 2017, with CIN U74999HR2017PTC068378, registered in Gurugram, Haryana. We are the data fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at arun@dataequity.in.
This policy covers this website only. Where we process personal data on behalf of a client inside one of our platforms, that processing is governed by the contract with that client, not by this policy.
What we collect
The contact form. If you submit the form on our contact page, we receive the fields you complete: your name, your company, your email address, the area of interest you select, and your message. All of these are provided voluntarily by you. There is no other form on this site.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical request data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — as an automatic part of serving the page. We use this only to keep the site available and secure.
Nothing else. We do not set cookies. We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics product. We do not embed advertising, remarketing or social media tracking pixels. We do not use local storage or session storage. We do not attempt to identify or profile visitors who do not contact us.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use contact form submissions for a single purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it, and to carry on any conversation that follows. We rely on the consent you give by choosing to submit the form. We do not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list on the strength of an enquiry.
Who else is involved
Two service providers necessarily see data in the course of running this site:
- Web3Forms processes the contact form and relays your submission to our email. Your form data passes through their service.
- Vercel hosts the site and generates the server logs described above.
We also use ordinary business email to receive and reply to enquiries. Our fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We will disclose it only where we are legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the business relationship or prospect is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records. If an enquiry does not lead anywhere, we delete it once it is clearly no longer relevant. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to tell you what personal data of yours we hold, to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete, to erase it, and to withdraw a consent you previously gave. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Write to arun@dataequity.in and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request, you may raise a grievance with us at the same address, and you retain the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with HSTS, a strict Content Security Policy and standard protective headers. That said, no transmission over the internet is perfectly secure. Please do not send us confidential material, credentials or sensitive personal data through the contact form — tell us it exists and we will arrange a proper channel.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
